The Tanana District 4-H program will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at the district Cooperative Extension office in Fairbanks.

Families and youths who want to learn more about 4-H are invited to meet with 4-H agent Marla Lowder and representatives from several clubs. 4-H, part of UAF’s Cooperative Extension Service, emphasizes a hands-on approach to learning life skills, citizenship and leadership. The Extension office is located at 724 27th Ave., in the Fairbanks Community Food Bank building.
