9/11 research

Question

Is university money funding this research? http://www.collective-evolution.com/2016/06/29/were-the-twin-towers-blown-up-by-bombs-on-911-researchers-at-the-university-of-alaska-are-about-to-find-out/

Is the research really as much about proving a conspiracy theory as this article makes it sound, or is it just the source putting their own spin on it?

Response

My staff and I are investigating the collapse of  the 7 World Trade Center tower on Sept. 11, 2001, seven hours after the larger twin towers fell. A report completed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology indicated the building collapsed due to fire. Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth is funding an independent research project through UAF to scientifically explore what happened to the 47-story building, which was 100 yards from the twin towers. The project is not looking into conspiracy theories. The project will continue through April 2017.
