Academic Leadership Institute accepts applications

The Office of the Provost is accepting applications for the 2015-2016 Academic Leadership
Institute from UAF faculty, staff and administrators through Aug. 24.
About a dozen participants in the institute will gather from 9 a.m. to noon on one
Saturday per month to hear and ask questions of an invited speaker and to study a
particular case.
New administrators, faculty and staff interested in an administration career and faculty
and staff interested in academic leadership should consider attending.
Homework reading is required. Participants will receive the books courtesy of the
Office of the Provost.
The 2015-16 dates are Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 14, Dec. 19, Jan. 30, Feb. 20, March
26 and April 23. The schedule is subject to the provost's discretion and to the availability
of the guest speakers.
Participants do not have to be in Fairbanks. Some rural campus personnel may participate
by audio.
A continental breakfast will be served.
