ACPE to visit UAF

ACPE's college and career guides are recent college graduates hired by ACPE every
two years and placed in various high schools throughout the state of Alaska. This
program provides mentorship, creates a college going culture and assists students
in the college application and selection process. The guides serve as liaisons between
Alaska high schools and University of Alaska campuses to stimulate and promote the
culture of a college/university environment and provide high school students with
information about UA scholarships, financial aid and the value of attaining a post-secondary
education. As a part of their training they spend one day on each of the MAU's campuses.
