Kurapati to depart for Texas A&M next month

University of Alaska Fairbanks Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Services and
Business Operations Raaj Kurapati will leave July 24 to take a position as the vice president for finance and chief financial officer
with the Texas A&M system near Corpus Christi.
Kurapati said he looks forward to using what he’s learned at UAF in his new role in
Texas.
“I will miss my colleagues, many of whom have become personal friends, and this great
university,” Kurapati wrote in an email. “I will miss my Alaska family.”
“I am extremely grateful to have been a part of this institution and know that in
spite of the challenges, our people will ensure we continue to be the pillar that
supports this community and Alaska for the next 100 years," he said.
