Faculty to discuss master's program, gender-inclusive language

The UAF Faculty Senate will discuss a new Master of Arts degree in marine science
and a resolution on gender-inclusive language at its meeting Monday, Feb. 8.
Also, guest speakers Mike Castellini, associate dean of the Graduate School; Laura
Bender, director of the Graduate School and Interdisciplinary Programs; and Dr. BJ
Aldrich, director of the Student Health and Counseling Center, will discuss graduate
student health care.
The meeting will be in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom from 1–3 p.m. Public comment
periods will be provided during each hour of the meeting.
