rp_primary_Rifle_Fan_Fest_2015 The first-ever NCAA Rifle Championship Fanfest will be held March 13 from noon-8 p.m. in the Patty Center during the first day of competition at the E.F. Horton Rifle Range.

The first 750 people to arrive will receive a limited edition commemorative pin engraved with the NCAA Rifle Championship logo. Everyone will have the opportunity to learn more about competitive shooting and to meet some of the student-athletes after they shoot.

Jamie Corkish (formerly Beyerle-Gray), a 2006 UAF graduate and 2012 Olympic gold medalist in the three-position rifle event, will meet fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures.

There will be booths for kids, and some of Fairbanks' finest ice sculptures will be on display.

Admission to Fanfest is included with a championship ticket, which can be purchased here.

Special thanks to Fairbanks Youth Sports and Usibelli Coal Mine, which helped the Alaska Nanooks Athletic Department create the event.

The NCAA Rifle Championship Banquet will be held on Thursday, March 12, at the Westmark Hotel. The banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public with the purchase of a ticket here.
