First Beach Bum 5K Run coming Saturday

The UAF cross-country running team will hold its first Beach Bum 5K Run this Saturday,
April 25, at noon.
Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Taku parking lot off Farmers Loop. The
entry fee is a minimum donation of $10. All proceeds will benefit the cross-country
running team, helping cover travel and uniform expenses.
The 5-kilometer race will start and finish at the Taku lot. The route parallels Farmers
Loop to North Tanana Drive, which it follows to West Ridge. Once past the Akasofu
Building, racers will return via Tanana Loop, Alumni Drive and Farmers Loop.
Please join the runners in celebrating the coming summer season by running or walking
in the Beach Bum 5K Run.
