Food safety workshop offered Oct. 4

The deadline is Sept. 20 to register for a certified food protection manager workshop
that will be offered Oct. 4 by videoconference in eight Alaska communities.
The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will host the food
safety workshop, which will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in Fairbanks, Delta
Junction, Bethel, Juneau, Kodiak, Palmer, Sitka and Valdez.
State regulations require that all food establishments have at least one certified
food protection manager to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
