Carla Browning

Green Dot founder Dorothy Edwards will present an overview of the Green Dot bystander intervention program to staff, faculty, students and the community from 9–10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, in the Davis Concert Hall. The Green Dot program seeks to reduce violence in our communities.

The program also provides strategies for dealing with interpersonal violence or helping others who are experiencing it.

A four-day training for interested students, staff and faculty will take place Jan. 26-29. Some space remains.

For more information about the training, please contact UAF Police Chief Keith Mallard, the Green Dot Steering Committee chair, at 474-7721 or kmallard@alaska.edu.
