Happy holidays!UAF is a gathering place for people from throughout Alaska and the world. We are here to pursue knowledge and learn from each other. This is true of all of us, whether we are students or professors, researchers or staff, and whether we were born in Fairbanks, raised in Florida or have moved here from another continent.
Alaska is big and open, and it encourages us to be daring, but its very vastness also reminds us that we still need each other. In the cold and dark of midwinter, it's good to know we can come together in light and warmth. Whatever your traditions, I hope you take time for friendship and reflection.
