Identify Alaska plants at next Discovery Series

The next presentation in the Museum Discovery Series at the University of Alaska Museum of the North looks at the importance of identifying plants. Herbarium curator Steffi Ickert-Bond will present “Plant Identification: An Essential Life Skill?” on Thursday, May 5, at 6 p.m.

The Museum Discovery Series features a different curator each month unveiling new discoveries based on research in the museum’s collections. The presentations will be held in the museum auditorium and are free and open to the public.
