May museum programs explore flight

The University of Alaska Museum of the North is offering hands-on programs during
the month of May to explore flight.Early Explorers, for children five and under, meets each Friday from 10 a.m.-noon. Junior Curators, for children six and up, is offered two Saturdays each month from 2-4 p.m. The theme for Saturday, May 16 is insects. On Saturday, May 30 children can explore pterosaurs.
All activities are included with museum admission. Adult supervision is required.
