The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host a family-friendly event exploring the legacy of the first successful summit of Denali on Saturday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m.

Visitors can meet Dana Wright, a direct descendent of the first man to reach the top of Denali, and explore their own family’s legacy. The public will also get a chance to see the special exhibit, Denali Legacy: 100 Years on the Mountain, in the special exhibits gallery before it close next month.

The Family Day event is free to children 14 and under. For more information, call 907-474-7505 or visit the museum online at www.uaf.edu/museum.
