Ninos Malek, an economics professor from California, will speak about everyday economics during two presentations on Friday, May 6, in the Murie Building auditorium. He will give presentations at 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and take questions after each.

Malek's talk is titled “Economics in your Everyday Life.” It is sponsored by the UAF student organization Students Who Enjoy Economic Thinking.

Malek is a professor of economics at De Anza College in Cupertino, California, and a lecturer at San Jose State University in San Jose, California. His previous experience includes teaching government and economics at Valley Christian High School in San Jose and teaching introductory economics at George Mason University.
