The UA Museum of the North is looking for photos of Otto the bear, the 8-foot-9-inch brown bear specimen who has greeted guests for more than 40 years at the museum. The photos are wanted to help promote an upcoming exhibit, Hibernation and the Science of Cold. Photos of Otto and other favorite snapshots of the museum will be used in a bear-shaped montage celebrating famous hibernators.

Visitors can share their photos on the museum’s Facebook page, upload them with the hashtag “OttoBear,” or email them to mailto:ua-museum-news@alaska.edu.
