Poetry slam planned at Arctic Java

A poetry slam will occupy Arctic Java at Wood Center at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22.The slam is open to all — share your poems and listen to other performers. Sign-ups start at 7:30 p.m. Performers should bring three original ready-to-go poems.
The slam is part of a series presented by the Nanook Diversity and Action Center leading up to "Mending Masculinity," a poetry performance by Perry DiVirgilio and Kavindu Ade at 7 p.m. March 30 in the Wood Center ballroom.
