Radon lecture at Noel Wien Library

Cooperative Extension Service energy specialist Art Nash will give a free public presentation about radon at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, in the Noel Wien Library Auditorium.
Nash will talk about where radon comes from, how to detect it and how to take care of it. Radon has been linked to lung cancer and has been detected in a number of Fairbanks homes at levels the Environmental Protection Agency considers unsafe.
January is National Radon Action Month.
