Reminder for students: pay your tuition and fees

August 31, 2011

A reminder to Fairbanks and Community and Technical College students:

ALL tuition and fees must be paid in full or you must
be in a payment plan through Tuition Management Systems on or before Friday, Sept. 9. Late fees will begin to accrue after this date.
You can pay in person at the UAF Business Office in Signers' Hall
until 6
p.m. Sept. 9, or, to avoid lines, pay at UAOnline through 11:59 p.m. that night.

A few things to remember:

  • There is no university-initiated drop or withdrawal from any course. If you choose NOT to take a course after registering, YOU MUST DROP THE
CLASS prior to Friday, Sept. 9 to avoid tuition and fees.

  • Non-payment or lack of attendance does not result in the course
being dropped and you will still owe the university for tuition and fees.

  • To avoid additional charges, holds, meal plan and SRC suspensions,
housing issues and potentially failing grades, drop classes you do
not
 intend to complete.

  • You can drop classes via UAOnline or through a visit to the Office of
 Admissions and the Registrar.
If you are relying upon financial aid, agency funding, payment plans,
employee deduction, tuition waivers or scholarships to pay your
tuition and fees, you must ensure that you have met all qualifications and
that
all required documentation has been received, processed and approved.

It is your responsibility to ensure all requirements have been met. If
your financial aid, agency funding or other source of payment will
not be received until after the deadline you need to establish a payment plan on or before Friday, Sept. 9. Payment plans can be set up through Tuition Management Systems or by calling 1-800-356-8329
