The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a free public lecture, "Life in 1890s gold camps" Wednesday, Feb. 6th at 5:30 p.m. in the Schaible Auditorium on the UAF campus.

Sine Anahita, professor of Sociology and Northern Studies will give the presentation, which is part of the weekly research showcase hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity.

Parking is free after 5 p.m. and refreshments will be provided.
