Science conference returns to Dillingham March 28 - 30

The UAF Bristol Bay Campus will host the 5th Western Alaska Interdisciplinary Science Conference (WAISC), Resilience in a Changing World, March 28 - 30 in Dillingham, Alaska. Richard Seifert, Community Sustainability Coordinator and Professor Emeritus, Cooperative Extension Service, will serve as the keynote speaker.

WAISC highlights regional scientific efforts that provide a more interdisciplinary approach to scientific inquiry and resource management. WAISC was started in Dillingham in 2007 to promote science and education in western Alaska.
