Since the last Capitol Report was posted, a great deal has happened in Juneau. The House passed an operating budget on March 12 and sent it to the Senate a few days later for consideration by that body. The subcommittee proposed reducing the size of the cut made by the House from $25 million to $20 million. The subcommittee also proposed adding $1.86 million to UA’s budget to continue funding the Alaska Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration.
