Slow Art Day planned for UA Museum of the North

For one day each year, people all over the world visit local museums and galleries to look at art slowly. This year the University of Alaska Museum of the North is joining Slow Art Day on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. until noon.

Participants will meet in the Creativity Lab for a short introduction before heading to the galleries. At 11 a.m., tea will be offered in the Creativity Lab, along with a discussion led by museum educators.

No registration is required. The activity is appropriate for all ages and is included with admission.
