Snow plowing and plug-ins

Question

Plowing the snow up against the headbolt heater plug-ins in the SRC parking lot breaks them such that the wiring is exposed to the elements. This seems really dangerous and it’s been happening (and I’ve been reporting it) for years. Is there another option for snow plowing that could avoid this? Or can someone fix them immediately if not?

Response

First, thank you for reporting these issues when you see them. We try to have the issues repaired a fast as we can. The operators, while trying to keep as much of the lot open for driving through and parking, do sometimes pile the snow too close to the plug-in posts. This practice is one we are trying to change and improve on.
