Faculty and staff are welcome at all dining locations on campus, and new dining plans from UAF Dining Services and Chartwells provide meals at prices below those paid by walk-up customers.

There are two plans:

  • The block 300 plan costs $300, which will cover $300 of munch money purchases and comes with a bonus of either 10 block meals or an additional $30 in munch money.

  • The block 200 plan costs $200, which will cover $200 of munch money purchases and comes with a bonus of either five block meals or an additional $20 in munch money.

Munch money is used like cash at all dining locations and most vending machines on campus at any time of the day. Block meals are offered in all-you-care-to-eat style at Dine 49 in Wood Center after 4:30 p.m. Participants can also use their block meals after 4:30 p.m. to purchase food worth up to $8 at other locations, including the Alaska Grill and Sushi in Wood Center, the M3 Cafe in the Murie Building and the Campus Cache in the Moore-Bartlett-Skarland residence hall complex. Any items over $8 at these locations can be paid from a customer's munch money balance.

The plans expire one year from the date of purchase.
