Theatre UAF will present "Closer," a play about the complex relationships between four characters and their love interests during a five-year span.

"Closer" will run Feb. 12–21 in the Lee H. Salisbury Theatre in the Fine Arts Complex at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Ian Buoncore, a senior UAF theater student, is directing "Closer" as his thesis work. Patrick Marber, a British actor and director, wrote the play.

The performance is intended for mature audiences due to sexually explicit content. On-stage seating is limited.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 12-13 and 19-20, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.

Advance tickets are $8 for UAF students; $12 for seniors, military service members, and UAF employees; and $16 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting www.uaf.edu/theatrefilm/ or by calling the box office at 907-474-7751. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for an additional $2.
