Theatre UAF's 'The Flu Season' opens this weekend

Theatre UAF will present its winter main-stage production, Will Eno's "The Flu Season," Friday, Nov. 9 through Sunday, Nov. 18 in the Lee H. Salisbury Theatre on the UAF campus.

The show is directed by assistant professor Stephan Golux and stars Theatre UAF students Amelia Cooper as Epilogue, Stephanie Sandberg as Woman, Brian Tuohy as Man, Theatre UAF alum Andrew Cassel as Prologue, UAF professor Eric Heyne as Doctor and UAF staff member Siri Tuttle as Nurse.

"The Flu Season" recently won the Oppenheimer Award, presented by New York Newsday, for best debut production in the previous year in New York by an American playwright. It was also a selection in the Play Lab at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference at the Prince William Sound Community College in 2002.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for UAF faculty, staff and military or seniors. Student tickets are $7. Add $2 for tickets purchased at the door.
