The University of Alaska Museum of the North will host a free public seminar, “Archaeology of Wood Use in Alaska” by Claire Alix, Wednesday, May 29, at 11 a.m. in the Room 201 of the Reichardt Building on the UAF campus.

Alix is a finalist for the joint position of curator of archaeology at the University of Alaska Museum of the North and assistant professor in UAF’s anthropology department.
