UAF Sustainable Village in the news

A story about the UAF Sustainable Village aired on KTUU-TV in Anchorage Feb. 21, 2013. Students, Lakeidra Chavis and Shyla Keays and Sustainability Director, Michele Hebert explained how life is different for residents in the village. This is a research living experiment where student practice sustainable living in an energy efficient space. It has application for rural Alaska. Watch the story.
