Veterinary seminars to cover sutures and applications

Applying for veterinary school and suturing will be covered in seminars sponsored by the UAF Department of Veterinary Medicine in April.

On April 15, Dr. Christine Hardy, of Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, will discuss, via videoconference, how to build a better application for vet school. Hardy is senior director for professional veterinary medicine student services at CSU. The videoconference will be from noon–2 p.m. in 130 Murie Building. On April 26, the department will hold a suturing seminar from 10 a.m.–noon at 309 Murie Building.
