Great Alaskan Accounting People, UAF's accounting student club, will offer free tax preparation sessions on Saturdays through April 11 on the Fairbanks campus.

GAAP volunteers are IRS-certified to prepare basic tax returns for free. Sessions will be held in the Nook, Bunnell 319, from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., on March 28, April 4 and April 11.

  • Property tax and mortgage interest statements.

  • List of medical expenses, interest, contributions and miscellaneous expenses (to itemize deductions).

  •  Copies of last year's tax return.

  • Child care payment information and name, address, and SSN and/or employer identification number of all child care providers.

  • Bank routing and account numbers for direct deposit.
