World Aids Day activities

UAF will host several activities from Nov. 30 – Dec. 2 as part of World Aids Day activities.
There will be an HIV/AIDS Resource and Information Fair Friday, Nov. 30 from 11 a.m
– 2 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 1 there will be a presentation featuring guest speaker
Selina Moose in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ball room at 1 p.m. This will be followed
by a candlelight vigil in front of Wood Center at 3 p.m.
The AIDS memorial quilt will be on display all three days during Wood Center's regular
operating hours. Please refer to the flier for specific times.
The event began in 1988 as a way to raise awareness. The event is sponsored by the
UAF Student Activities Department and the UAF Social Work program.
