A group of us are attempting to put together a list of 100 big ideas that came out of UAF over the past 100 years. Research discoveries, critical works of art, classroom advances — pretty much anything that demonstrates the value of UAF creative thought to our town, our state, our nation and everything beyond. We want to use the list, of course, in conjunction with the upcoming centennial celebration.

For this, we're soliciting your help. We'd like to know what those big ideas were — and that is something that needs to come from the whole UAF community. My notion of a big idea may not be the same as yours — but it takes all of us to represent UAF. Please think about some of the the big ideas that UAF people past or present have produced over the years, and submit them to us here. We're not going to rank them — we're just going to name them. Then we'll gather them up and do something interesting with that list.  I promise.

I assume that the older ideas may be harder to find. Thus, we'll be especially appreciate of the golden oldies. We'll collect ideas between now and June 1.
