Arctic Science Conference coming to Fairbanks

The 2014 Arctic Science Conference, sponsored by the Arctic Division of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, will be held Sept. 27-28 in the Murie Building on UAF's West Ridge.

Five conference tracks are planned: Resilience and sustainability; biomedicine, biochemistry and the One Health Initiative; interdisciplinary science, technology, engineering and mathematics education; using art to communicate science; and citizen science.

Abstracts are invited for both podium and poster presentations. They are due no later than Aug. 20. Registration opens Aug. 1. See the conference website for more information.
