Theatre UAF presents 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'

Theatre UAF will present Tennessee Williams' classic play, “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof."

Guest artist Rebecca George will direct the play, which portrays the life of a southern family as its members navigate relationships and life together.

The play will run April 15-24 in the Lee H. Salisbury Theatre in the Fine Arts Complex at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, April 15-16 and April 22-23, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24.

Advance tickets are $8 for UAF students; $12 for seniors, military service members, and UAF employees; and $16 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased in advance by visiting www.uaf.edu/theatrefilm/ or by calling the box office at 907-474-7751. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for an additional $2.

The Theatre and Film Department is housed within in the UAF College of Liberal Arts. The College of Liberal Arts, the largest of UAF’s academic units, comprises the arts, humanities, social sciences and language disciplines across 20 departments.
