University Relations

Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services Kari Burrell will host a forum on Monday, Jan. 29, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Elvey Auditorium. The focus for this forum will be on administrative services for UAF's research enterprise; administrators, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.

The agenda will have three primary components:
- updates from administrative services directors including travel policy/system changes, strategic pathways review for grants and contracts administration, planning for UAF's seven-year capital plan, new field training opportunities, HR streamlining and strategic pathways consolidated purchasing;
- soliciting input from research unit colleagues on what is and is not working well; and
- discussion on how administrative services can support research units to make progress on the UA Board of Regents' and President Johnsen's aggressive research growth goals.
