Alternative energy workshops offered in Fairbanks

Art Nash will offer two free workshops in Fairbanks on energy efficiency and alternative energy options.

Nash, an energy specialist with the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service, will lead the first workshop from 6-9 p.m. June 25-26 and will offer it a second time from 6-9 p.m. June 27-28. The first night of both sessions will cover solar, wind, bioenergy, hydro and geothermal energy options. The second night will address energy conservation, storage, design and finance.
