Anupma Prakash named CNSM interim dean

Anupma Prakash has been named interim dean of the College of Natural Science and Mathematics.
Prakash is a professor of geophysics and has been a faculty member at UAF since 2002.
Since 2012 she has served as associate dean of CNSM and director of the CNSM Division
of Research. She is also the principal investigator of the Alaska EPSCoR Program.Prakash will hold the position of interim dean while Paul Layer serves as the University of Alaska's interim vice president for Academic and Student Affairs. UA statewide will reopen the search for the vice president position soon, aiming to refill the position by next academic year.
