Political science assistant professor recognized for paper

Brandon Boylan, assistant professor in the UAF Department of Political Science, will be recognized at the upcoming International Studies Association conference for a paper he presented at the 2013 meeting.

Boylan's paper, “The Breeding Grounds for Ethnic Terrorism,”  was runner-up for the ISA Peace Studies Section's Kenneth Boulding Award, which is given to the best paper on peace studies presented at the most recent ISA conference.

Boylan will receive a certificate and cash prize at the ISA's March 26-30 meeting in Toronto, Canada.
