Broken step by the library

I imagine that Facilities is aware of the outdoor broken concrete step near the bottom of the staircase at the back receiving dock of the library. I say this because there is a fluorescent orange circle painted around the defective step. I first noticed it in early June. I can see that many repairs and improvements have been made on campus this summer. Do you have any idea when this defect will be repaired? It's not a private staircase, so I am concerned about liability. Thanks.
