Convocation scheduled for Sept. 12

University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Daniel White will address staff, faculty,
students and community members on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at fall convocation. The presentation
will be at 1 p.m. at Davis Concert Hall.
The presentation will be part of White’s first convocation as UAF chancellor and will
include an overview of the university and his vision for the institution.

The main entrance to the Regents’ Great Hall at the UAF Fine Arts Building is closed
for construction. Access to the building is available through north and northeast
entrances off Yukon Drive and Tanana Loop, respectively. The hall will open 20 minutes
before the presentation to allow time for attendees to be seated.
Following the presentation, an ice cream social will be held in the Wood Center.
