Coronavirus response management

Last week, I sent a Cornerstone message regarding the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). There remain no confirmed cases of the virus in Alaska, but I want to ensure that our students, faculty and staff have more information about UAF’s preparation and response measures.
Yesterday, Core Cabinet received a briefing from our Director of Emergency Management and Fire Chief Doug Schrage about our emergency response plan. The University continues to monitor developments and I have asked Chief Schrage to send out weekly updates regarding our response measures and contingency plans starting this week.
