It’s been a busy semester, so it was great to see those of you who stopped by the
Chancellor’s Holiday Gathering last week. I especially enjoyed visiting with our students.Before we head off to a well-earned break, I’d like to invite you to celebrate with us at the kickoff event for UAF’s centennial year — the Sparktacular celebration, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. on the Fairbanks campus. Tune your radio to KUAC 89.9 FM and watch the fireworks synchronized to music. A free open house at the UA Museum of the North will accompany the event, starting at 7 p.m.
I’m optimistic about what the new year will bring as we celebrate the passing of one milestone and ring in the next 100 years.
