The Alaska Space Grant Program welcomes faculty from UAF to apply to the Early Career Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship program. Applications are due March 1.

These fellowships, up to $3,000 (based on student enrollment), are for undergraduate students who may be just starting out in their programs, or undeclared students who may be curious about participating in science, technology, engineering or mathematics — STEM — fields.

Students must be U.S. citizens and enrolled in, at minimum, one STEM course during the summer. The faculty member defines the project and commits to recruiting the student(s). Faculty may request support for up to two students.

These proposals need not go through OGCA or UAF pre-proposal procedures; please send them directly to ASGP. Application details are here.
