'Fences' to be screened at Arctic Java

The Nanook Diversity and Action Council will screen Denzel Washington's 2016 film
"Fences," an adaptation of a 1983 play by the same name written by August Wilson.The film details the experience of an African-American father with race relations in 1950s America and explores themes of masculinity, family and the American dream.
The screening will be held on March 7th at 7 p.m. in Arctic Java. There will be a discussion about the film afterwards.
