First Friday: 'The Night Sky' at Arctic Java

“The Night Sky,” a photo gallery celebrating the beauty of the night, will be staged at UAF’s new Arctic Java Cafe in the Wood Center during the month of November.

The gallery will include works from Ronn and Marketa Murray, Sebastian Saarloos, Tracey Porreca and the customers of Alaska Camera.

The gallery run will include a catered First Friday event from 5–8 p.m. on Nov. 7. The event will feature two 15-minute short lectures and question sessions by photographer Ronn Murray at 6:30 p.m. and  7:30 p.m.

Aurora video will be viewable for the entire duration of the event. All UAF parking is free after 5 p.m. weekdays and on weekends.
