Flu shots available on campus

Employees and students can get free flu shots at several locations on the Fairbanks campus. UAF's Center for Health and Counseling will provide the shots during the coming month.

The events will be:


  • 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, Wood Center

  • 5 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 13, Moore, Bartlett, Skarland Complex

  • 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, 204 Butrovich Building (Room 109)

  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20, International Arctic Research Center lobby

  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, Ruth Lister Gathering Area

  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, Facilities Services

  • 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, Wood Center - first floor mail hallway



Thursday, October 22, 11:30am to 1:30pm at CTC in the Ruth Lister Gathering Area


Thursday, October 29, 11:30am to 2pm at at Wood Center - first floor main hallway



And just as a reminder the remaining flu clinics are scheduled as below:


Tuesday October 20, 11:30am to 1:30pm at IARC main lobby


Tuesday October 27, 11:30am to 1:30pm at Facilities

All UA Choice health plans cover flu shots and other routine vaccinations at 100 percent of allowable charges with no deductible. If you can't make it to one of these events or you are not in Fairbanks, you can get your flu shot from your local clinic, physician and many pharmacies.
