Food safety management training will be offered Oct. 3 by videoconference in seven Alaska communities.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will host the certified food protection managers training from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Fairbanks, Delta Junction, Tok, Palmer, Valdez, Juneau and Sitka. State regulations require that all food establishments have at least one certified food protection manager to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
