Celebrate and support KUAC TV’s AlaskaOne public television during their spring fundraiser at the 29th annual poster signing event, March 3 from
noon - 4 p.m. at Well Street Art Co.This year, KUAC’s poster features “Berry Toss,” by Fairbanks artist Ken Whitten and is a thank-you gift for donors who support the mission of public broadcasting in Alaska during this annual fundraiser which runs March 3 –18.
The featured art was selected by a panel of artists and experts after an open call for art. This photograph of a Bohemian Waxwing was chosen from over 70 submissions from more than two dozen artists throughout the state.
The poster signing event gives donors the opportunity to pledge early and meet the artist. Whitten will sign posters at a reception Saturday, March 3 from noon - 4 p.m. at Well Street Art Co., at 1304 Well Street, corner of Well and Good off Phillips Field Road in Fairbanks.
