Master gardener to lead annual gardening series

As the gardening season winds down, Terry Reichardt believes it is time to start planning next year’s vegetable garden.

The longtime Fairbanks master gardener will lead her annual eight-week gardening class by Zoom, beginning Sept. 28. It will run from 6-8 p.m. Mondays. Reichardt will cover tips on growing vegetables successfully in the Interior, as well as cooking and storing them.

The class is sponsored by the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center. The fee is $20. Sign up by calling the First Presbyterian Church at 452-2406.
